Parts are cheap and the 2.5L NA/8AT combo is mechanic-friendly. The GT's DCT is more specialist. Recall remedy completion for the big 2026 campaigns (fuel tank, trim) should be verified on any used 2021–25 car.
Hype flags
Design-forward marketing ("give the segment some style") is broadly validated by owners — the K5's looks are its most-cited asset. Performance claims for the GT are real. No evidence of astroturf; the criticism (electrics, brakes) is organic. One caution: 2025+ facelift cars are sometimes reviewed as if the 1.6T's history applies to the new 2.5L — it doesn't.
